Financial Adviser (English speaking)

This role requires a good understanding of the French financial system. Experience and motivation are essential. We are open to discussing how a collaboration could take place and envisage one of several scenarios:

  1. You would either be working under our licence and considered a “mandataire”, in which case clients do not belong to you. Our licences cover insurance/life insurance advisers in Europe, financial advisers in France and Europe using reverse solicitation and estage agents all over France.For this type of partnership we could provide leads, share clients and undertake annual visits for existing clients, which would generate possible business and additional leads.
  2. You can work as an independent financial adviser with your own licence, in which case you will build your own client portfolio. We would help you to set up your company (SAS, SARL, Auto Entrepreneur) and obtain the right regulations and AMF certification, which are obligatory when providing financial advice in France and Europe.
  3. We are also permanently looking for referral contracts where you simply bring business, which we handle with remuneration being a percentage of the commission.

The role will involve:

  • Ensuring clients make decisions that help them meet their financial targets.
  • Advising on finance products and preparing financial plans.
  • Growing and maintaining the business through client generation.
  • Maintaining good relationships with clients.
  • Keeping up with the latest financial practices and developments.

We would expect candidates seeking options 1 or 2 to have good knowledge of:

  • Asset management.
  • International pension transfers (QROPS, ISIPP, full encashments).
  • French assurance vie, Luxembourg assurance vie.
  • France’s laws, transmission laws, UK tax, French tax.

Bilingual Back Office Assistant (English speaking)

For this role, the applicant must be highly organised and familiar with the financial sector, or at least have experience of an international sales environment.

The position involves assisting the team with tasks such as:

  • Contacting pension schemes in the UK, Ireland, IOM, Channel Islands, Luxembourg, Malta and Gibraltar.
  • Liaising with clients and prospects all over France, the UK and Europe.
  • Following, developing and building Excel sheets.
  • Preparing annual reviews and gathering clients’ statements and portfolios.
  • Passing through trades and contacting asset managers.

Essential skills include: English and French language skills and Office 365.
